Your First Visit
We ask that you arrive 10 to 15 minutes early so that you have enough time to fill out a New Patient form. Alternatively, you can print off, fill out, and bring the form to your appointment by clicking the link below.
Initial Examination
During your first appointment, your dentist will review your medical and dental history, followed by a thorough dental exam. Your exam will include an in-depth examination of your gums, teeth, bite and jaw, an oral cancer screening, and any necessary X-rays.
Treatment Plan
Based on your history and exam results, your dentist can develop a treatment plan customized to your needs. They will happily answer any questions you have regarding your oral health. Your dentist will also take the time to listen to your concerns and discuss treatment options so you can make informed decisions about your dental care.
Insurance & Payment
At Emerald Park Dental Clinic, we want the financial aspect of your dental care to be as straightforward as possible so you can focus on achieving your dental goals.
Before your treatment begins, we can provide you with an estimated cost so there are no surprises when it comes time to make your payment.
Insurance Claims
We will happily attempt to bill your dental insurance provider directly. However, the patient is ultimately responsible for any fees associated with the services provided.
If you aren't entirely sure about your level of coverage, our administrative team can assist you in better understanding your insurance plan.
Payment Methods
The full cost of your treatment must be paid in full at the time of your appointment. Our office accepts payment via cheque, debit, and most major credit cards.
Your Child's First Visit
We believe that your child’s first visit to the dentist shouldn't just be something they bear through, it should be an enjoyable experience.
Their first dental appointment can help establish a positive relationship with oral health care as a whole.
Our team has aimed to create a positive environment for children. We hope to make each appointment a pleasant experience for your child so they are happy to come back and care for their oral health.

Missed Appointment Policy
Our commitment at Emerald Park Dental is to provide exceptional dental care to our patients while respecting the time and schedules of both our providers and fellow patients. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, making it necessary for you to cancel or reschedule your appointment. To ensure the smooth operation of our practice and to accommodate the needs of all our patients, we have established the following Missed Appointment Policy.
Appointment Cancellation Notice:
When you schedule an appointment, you reserve a valuable slot on our calendar that is no longer available to other patients. To show consideration for your fellow patients, please notify us as soon as you become aware that you won't be able to make your appointment.
If you need to cancel your appointment, we kindly request that you provide us with at least 24 hours notice. Your early notification will allow us to offer the vacant slot to another patient in need of dental care.
How to Cancel Your Appointment:
To cancel your appointment, please contact us at (306) 949-2767 during our regular business hours. If it is after hours, please leave a detailed voicemail message, and we will return your call, or email us and we will get back to you.
Late Cancellations/No-Shows Fee:
A cancellation is deemed late when it occurs less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time. A no-show is when a patient misses an appointment without prior cancellation. Once an appointment has been made, a room is reserved specifically for you and the dentist/dental hygienist’s time is set aside. Please be considerate of other patients and our clinic.
